Autism & Neurodiversity Support in Dubbo | Kindling Support

Neurodiversity-Affirming NDIS Support You Can Trust

Welcome to the Autism and Neurodiversity hub at Kindling Support. Finding the right NDIS support in the Dubbo and Orana region can feel overwhelming, especially when you are looking for a service that genuinely understands your family's daily reality.

My approach to support is built on two core foundations: professional mental health training and real lived experience. Having supported neurodivergent family members of my own, I know that true care requires much more than a textbook approach. It requires deep empathy, patience, and an authentic understanding of how neurodivergent minds experience the world.

My Support Philosophy

At Kindling Support, I operate on a strictly neurodiversity-affirming model. This means I do not view autism as a puzzle to be solved or a behaviour to be fixed. Instead, I focus entirely on building capacity, reducing anxiety, and helping young people thrive exactly as they are.

Whether we are undertaking community access in Dubbo, or engaging in youth mentoring across Bathurst and Orange, the goal is always the same. I work to create a safe, low demand environment where young people feel respected, heard, and completely understood.

Professional Expertise Meets Lived Experience

With formal qualifications in Youth Work, Mental Health, Mental Health Peer Work, and Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), I bring a high level of clinical and operational knowledge to every NDIS plan. However, it is the lived experience that drives the heart of my business.

I know firsthand the challenges families face when navigating the school system, managing sensory overwhelm, and trying to get the most out of an NDIS plan. I bridge the gap between complex mental health systems and everyday community life, ensuring your funding is used to achieve real, meaningful goals.
